BIO

Xavier is a theatre and film artist with interests in acting, dancing and singing. Born and raised in a warm city on the south coast of Turkey called Adana, Xavier is bilingual in English and Turkish. Wanting to take advantage of his U.S. citizenship, Xavier moved to Denver, Colorado in high school, where he attended Overland High School and graduated as Valedictorian.

As an artist, Xavier is passionate about telling stories that deal with the intersection of race, queerness and religion in order to educate and engage a wide variety of audience members with these topics in innovative ways. 

Xavier has worked with several regional theaters across the united states, including Hudson valley shakespeare Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Hangar Theatre and Aurora Fox Theatre in Colorado. 

He earned his b.f.a. in drama as an honors scholar from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied under the Stella Adler Studio of acting and was awarded for his "outstanding achievement in studio."  He also studied abroad in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), where he focused on Shakespeare in Performance. 

xavier is a second year m.f.a. in acting candidate at u.c. san diego, in conjunction with La Jolla Playhouse..

During his rare free time, Xavier can be found thrift shopping his way through the city with a large cup of cold brew coffee or at the nearest contemporary art Museum.
